OPEN CALL: Exploring the landscapes of Czech independent performing arts

The Bavarian-Czech platform is opening an opportunity to explore the landscapes of the Czech independent performing arts. We are looking for professionals (artists, curators, producers, managers, and other cultural workers) who work in the field of independent performing arts or have intersections with this sector and are interested in international collaborations.

From May 20th to May 24th, we will visit theatres and cultural centres in České Budějovice and Brno, arrange meetings that provide insight into the conditions of the Czech scene, conduct individual meetings, walk around the city and visit evening performances of the independent scene during the international festival in Brno.

THE PLATFORM ARRANGES
Accommodation, travel expenses, tickets for performances, professional visits, individual meetings, breakfasts and partly the other daily meals

 

OBLIGATIONS
All participants must take part in the entire journey* (departure Monday morning from Bavaria and Friday/Saturday morning from Brno)
*if you have any time complications, inform us in the closing open question

20. 05. Bavaria -> České Budějovice (arrival in the afternoon)
21. 05. České Budějovice (whole day programme) -> Brno (arrival around 21:00)
22. 05. Brno (meetings, individual explorations, visiting evening shows**)

24. 05. Departure day / or more programme in Brno, optional visit to Olomouc
