The platform was founded at the end of 2022 by the Association of Independent Theaters of the Czech Republic (Asociace nezávislých divadel ČR, z. s.; AND CR) together with the Bavarian Association of the Independent Performing Arts (Verband Freie Darstellende Künste Bayern; VFDKB). The aim of the platform is to connect institutions and people in both countries, to enable events in the field of the independent performing arts, to initiate new international cooperations and to search for sustainable solutions for responsible creation processes.
